New Initiatives

IITB has set up Centre of Excellence in Nanoelectronics[1][2], a joint project between Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IITB) and Indian Institute of Science (IISc) to create Centres of Excellence in Nanoelectronics. This centre will undertake state-of-the-art research in nanoelectronics, train manpower in this emerging area, interact with industry, research laboratories and government departments, and create facilities which will be used by nanoelectronics researchers all over the country.

Location

IIT Bombay is located at Powai, which is an eastern suburb in the North-Eastern part of Mumbai. IITB can be reached by Bus, Auto or taxi from any of the railway station in Mumbai. Kanjur Marg, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar, Andheri, Bandra, Goregoan and Malad are the nearest stations from IITB.
